In my opinion the 3070 has been the best value in graphics cards for the last few years and is an amazing chipset. BUT!!! The cooler on this particular card does not have what it takes to keep up with the potential performance. It's still a good card but you're kind of getting a 3070 that you can only use 80% of. The 3070 is supposed to be a 1440p champi9n but this one will keep you at 1080p if you want to run higher setting in many games. This card cannot handle nVidia's recommended settings in several games because of the weak cooler. Do not expect to be able to overclock this card either. In fact, you will likely have to underclock it and cap frames in most games. If you manage to get this card on sale ($500 or less) and don't mind either undervolting and / or lowering game settings a bit and playing at 1080p it's an "ok" card. But know that in many games you won't enjoy the expected experience of the 3070 platform without suffering from regular crashes and high fan noise due to overheating. Hope this helps others set expectations before purchasing and not overpay for a disappointing and frustrating experience.
