Very easy to work with. I like how the actual case of the iPad separates from the key board and you get to put it away rather than removing the case from the iPad. nice color and great typing experience. The key buttons are a bit small, but that's something that should not bother you.

We bought this for my son. It is the same model that his older sister purchased for her iPad years ago. It only needs occasional charging and works great. Zagg products are a great value and hold up well under normal use. It was very easy to set up and connect to his iPad. It was a little tight to actually place the iPad in the case, but that is part of the protective design and was more a product of our fear of being too strong with placing it. He is very happy with the keyboard and uses it daily.

Overall, this is a great keyboard solution for my generation of iPad Pro. Likes: I wanted the function row of keys, keyboard back lighting is solid, feel of the keys are great and typing is very responsive, and battery life is wild long. The one storage is nice, as is the magnetic piece that keeps it in place when in bag. Another great part is that the iPad has a case over it and the iPad pops off the keyboard case to be used separately or together with keyboard. Also love the price compared to the Magic Keyboard. I tried that one too and felt it was not nice enough to justify the cost. Dislike: I do wish it got power from the iPad but not an issue due to crazy long battery life. Keyboard wake up sometimes take a second before initial use but after it’s perfect. Also, sometimes the onscreen keyboard flashes before I start typing. Not a deal breaker though as the moment I use the external keyboard the onscreen one goes away. Last feedback would be the stand. The folio (non-keyboard apple brand case) is nice for taking up less space when on a table or traveling in the air (think small table tray on plane - see photos from recent trip) but it’s not the worst experience ever. Definitely doable. Overall, great value for the money. Would recommend for those looking for a quality external keyboard that has storage for an Apple Pen WITH security so it doesn’t fall out.

I’ll start off by saying two things. The first is that I love zagg products. The durability truly has impressed me since splurging on a screen protector for my iPhone and the company stands behind everything they make with an excellent warranty. The second thing is more of a disclaimer in that I am very used to using the Apple Magic Keyboard (AMK). Everything about installation of the case and keyboard is intuitive. Everything snaps together as it should and the keyboard lighting is excellent. I really do feel this is a much more protective option than the AMK alone. My main issue with the case most likely comes from the fact, as mentioned above, that I have exclusively used AMKs and am used to their rigidity when folded open at whatever angle you choose. This case, when open, felt flimsy on any surface besides a table top. I typically have my iPad in my lap or on a soft surface like a couch or bed when using it so this was a deal breaker for me. That said, if you can live with that only drawback, this is a much more protective case than the AMK. Ultimately I decided to return mine and buy an AMK compatible case to retain the functionality to which I am accustomed.

First thing is that the picture lies to you. I expected the iPad to sit up high off the keyboard. It does not. The iPad 10 must sit down on the keyboard for the keyboard to work. There is no mechanism to get that iPad up high like the picture. However, everything works perfect. It offers great protection and the keyboard is easy to type on. I have used Zagg for other iPads and have never been disappointed with their service and quality of product. My last keyboard developed a stuck key, and after contacting Zagg, they just sent me another keyboard which worked perfect until I retired the iPad. I haven’t had the opportunity to drop my new iPad and keyboard from a height, but I am sure this will work as well as my previous keyboard, which I did drop. Very happy with this purchase.
