Refill in Xerox Phaser 6280

Paid almost $1,200 for a set of four hi-cap Xerox toner cartridges. Cyan was the last color to run out in my otherwise excellent Phaser 6280N. Opened the box, installed the new cyan hi-cap cartridge and the printer refused to recognize it, refused to print until I replaced it. Cleaned sensors, powered down and back up several times, but always the same error message - replace the cyan cartridge. Re-installed the old, nearly empty cartridge and it works just fine again, but now I have a $125 toner ctg that's defective and it's been long enough you know Xerox isn't going to replace it. I think I'll have to trash Xerox and look for a Binford.

Received Standard Capacity vs High Capacity stated in description. I kept because I needed the cartridge and the price was reasonable for the standard. Still don't appreciate the error regardless of intent.

Toner was defective (left repeating marks on page). Requested replacement, and about two weeks later it was received. New toner seems to be free of defects,
