Super affordable and reliable. The Western Digital software actively monitors the health of the device and is legendary for durability. Cloning the device was a little challenging when I attempted to update and expand my system drive. The Acronis software was able to clone the device but it would not boot initially. The Boot partition did not contain the required boot information. I later discovered that I needed to boot into Windows "Safe Mode" first after swapping the system drive and then, exit and restart. Viola! It worked like a charm.

This ssd is probably one of the best ssd's on the market! Especially for the price to performance, I think this is a product I would buy again if I needed more storage. Installment was easy and fast and I didn't have to sweat to install (first time opening my prebuilt). I was scared at the thought of having to install an ssd but it worked out properly. In the end, I would recommend this ssd to anybody who is trying to buy on a budget but needs a reliable memory card that won't break after a few weeks!

Purchased this SSD for my Lenovo legion slim 5 and man is it fast much better than the one pre-installed. Definitely great bang for your buck. I use this laptop for multiple things including gaming and this SSD is smooth and fast. No issues with seller or shipping.

Just got the new gen SN7100 and so far I am loving it. Unpacked it, installed it, formatted it in Windows and it was ready to rock.. After I formatted the drive, I opened up Western Digital Dashboard and the new drive was recognized right away and there was a firmware update ready and waiting for it. I've paired it up with my SN850X boot drive in my Beelink EQi12 1220P Mini PC. I am using the SN7100 as an onboard storage drive so I don't fill up the 850X. The SN7100 idles at 25°C with an aftermarket heatsink, and while running Crystal DiskMark 8 under heavy load, the drive maxed out at 41°C, much cooler than the SN850X under same test. Pretty happy with the speeds of the new drive. I highly recommend the SN7100 if you plan on sticking with PCIe Gen 4 for a while. Can't go wrong with this one. I'm thinking grabbing another when it's back on sale.
