Nice monitor

As someone who teaches from home and having had to downsize from my dual 27in Viewsonic monitors, this made its way to the top of the list. I really liked the idea of having a single cable from my laptop to charge it and carry the video/USB signal, and a DisplayPort in (and out) means I can have a lead from my desktop PC to the monitor too. Easy to unbox and assemble, laptop plugged in, and voila! A charging laptop with video/audio out 🙂 Then ran a DisplayPort cable from my PC to the monitor - the monitor takes its signal from whichever device is switched on first, but it's a couple of taps through the on-screen menus to switch over if needed. If there were any quibbles, and I'm being very picky here, it's that the built-in speakers are a bit tinny, but for the very little use they'll get (I usually wear a headset when teaching and gaming), then they're more than sufficient. As an instructor, a second monitor is always preferred, so I'll either get another one of these or the VG2455 when they hit a price I'm happy with. Definitely recommended.

Ich war wirklich überrascht, wie einfach das anschließen aller Geräte geklappt hat. Ich habe von meinem Laptop das mit gelieferte USB-C Kabel an den Monitor angeschlossen. Der Laptop braucht danach keine zusätzliche Verbindung zum Strom, da er gleich über den Monitor aufgeladen wird. Danach die Maus und Tastatur in die seitlichen USB-A Anschlüsse gesteckt, das Internetkabel/ Ethernet an den Monitor angeschlossen (wird nicht mitgeliefert) und den Monitor an die Steckdose gebracht (das Stromkabel ist auch dabei). Und schon konnte es losgehen. Keine Docking Station nötig und alles ist wirklich sehr aufgeräumt auf dem Schreibtisch. Der Monitor selbst hat einen sehr schmalen Rand, deshalb holt er aus den 24" sehr viel heraus (es gibt zwischen 24"-Monitoren tatsächlich ganz schön große Unterschiede, wie viel Bild man wirklich sehen kann, hab schon mehrere verglichen). Der Monitor kann in fast alle Richtungen gekippt und gedreht werden und mit der Bildqualität bin ich zufrieden. Insgesamt wirklich sehr empfehlenswert und ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Dockingstation für mein Microsoft Surface 8 Pro. Da ich auch viel zu Hause arbeite und dafür dann einen zweiten großen Bildschirm haben wollte.
