Used to replace a failed M.2 ,seems great value from a well know brand . works perfect

It's a solid state drive - it stores and retrieves data, and does so pretty quickly. Be aware of three things: First, this is an M.2 SATA SSD, also called an NGFF SSD. NGFF stands for New Generation Form Factor. While the form factor may have been new over a decade ago when it was introduced, this SSD still uses the SATA bus, which tops out at 6Gb/sec (768MB/sec), and delivers a practical maximum of about 550MB/sec. It's no faster than a 2.5" SATA SSD, so buy whichever you can get cheaper if your motherboard's M.2 slot only supports SATA/NGFF SSDs. Second, while some M.2 slots support both SATA/NGFF and NVMe/PCI SSDs, many support just one or the other. So before buying this drive, make sure your M.2 slot supports SATA/NGFF. Third, referring back to the earlier comment about speed, if you want those super-fast SSD speeds of up to 7000MB/sec, you need an NVMe SSD, so if your M.2 slot supports NVMe, get that instead of this one.

En emplacement d'un hdd mecanique sur pc portable gamer de 2012, parfait. Je cherchais un Sata non pas Nvme. Il fonctionne parfaitement.

Ho comprato questa SSD perché è la più economica su Amazon tra quelle di marche note. Se non volete rispiegare sulle solite marche dai nomi improbabili che si trovano sullo store, questa è la soluzione meno dispendiosa. Le prestazioni sono molto simili tra tutte queste SSD oramai, quindi ha poco senso parlarne. Sottolineo solo che la memoria libera realmente disponibile sono circa 480 GB, anche se dice 512 GB.
