The Vertiv Geist Rack Transfer Switch VA4N21A0 is a 20A, 120V, single phase unit level monitored rPDU with (10) NEMA 5-20R receptacles and (2) NEMA 5-20P plug that provides 1.9kW of power capacity. This rPDU provides redundant power to single-corded devices that allows them to remain powered in the event of power loss. It can quickly detect power loss on the main source and automatically switch it to the secondary source within less than 4 to 8 milliseconds. The high-retention outlets reduce the risk of costly downtime from accidental disconnections of the power cord. This unit is suitable for data centers such as edge, hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise locations.

REDUNDANT POWER-SHARING

The next-generation Interchangeable Monitoring Device features a redundant power-sharing port that allows users to connect two IMDs in the rack and provide backup power to the IMD in case of power loss.

HIGH-VISIBILITY DISPLAY

This smart PDU is integrated with the next-generation rPDU IMD that displays power data via its 128x128 high-visibility LCD. It has an internal sensor that intelligently adjusts the orientation based on horizontal or vertical installation.
