The USW-Lite-8-PoE is a fully managed Layer 2 switch with eight Gigabit Ethernet ports for your RJ45 Ethernet devices. Four ports also offer auto-sensing 802.3at PoE+ that provide up to a total PoE wattage of 52W for UniFi Access Points or other PoE devices. Managed and configured by the UniFi Network Controller with UniFi mobile app support, the USW-Lite-8-PoE offers Layer 2 switching protocols and features. The UniFi Network Controller and mobile app allow admins to configure and monitor virtually all of the switch features in a graphical user interface from anywhere.

Works Well

10/10 helped my life

Works well for POE on a wifi6 outdoor mesh and still see all ports behind the mesh

Needed to get internet to an outbuilding for both WIFI and LAN. Although not specifically documented, I gave my idea a shot and it works. On my UDM Pro, set my U6 lites to mesh and auto, the same setting in the WiFi 6 Mesh unit when adopted to the network. Went out to the outbuilding, plugged in this switch, and LAN cable to the WiFi 6 Mesh and let it set for a few min. Opened wifi man and saw all my ubiquity devices. Went back to my UDM Pro and I can manage all the ports on this switch through the WiFi 6 Mesh connection. Devices connected to this switch pull DHCP addresses in the LAN range and get out to the internet. PERFECT!!

Very easy to adopt

Bought this to replace a 5 port because I needed more ports. Plugged it in , within a few moments it will show up within you controller , you click adopt and within a few minutes it will update with your network rules and any firmware updates that it needs. Very straight forward, pretty much plug and play.

Great quality

You need to have a bit of tech savvy to set everything up properly but this is a top notch product. Nice and compact. Mine came with the wrong mains adapter but the seller sent me the right one at no extra charge very quickly after contacting them

Easy to setup, and with VLANs!

Nice managed switch, all managed easily using a UniFi controller. It was easily detected, and with a few clicks, I could add and manage VLANs per individual port. A great add-on for a small business!
