Tripp Lite USB 3.0 Keystone Panel Mount Coupler F/F All In One Black

I liked how easy it was to install these into my keystone panel. Everything fit well and snapped together securely. Only critical feedback I have is in regard to the packaging. I purchased 12 of these between Amazon and Newegg she each one came in an individual plastic zip-bag. My suggestion is to find a more environmentally friendly packaging solution because it seems wasteful. I understand it's probably cost effective too do this with regards to order fulfillment and uniformity but that's my only feedback. It packing is the only thing to complain about then they're doing something right.

I installed these USB 3 keystone jacks along with audio, displayport and hdmi jacks after moving my gaming PC into the basement below my office. I was hoping for a nice clean look with the wall plate and keystone jacks. My troubles first started with the tripp lite Displayport jack. My ASUS 1440p G-sync monitor wasn't being detected. Remove the tripp lite jack from the loop and works fine. Then I ran into trouble with the USB 3 jacks. I had an unknown device in my device manager on Windows 10 that would not go away no matter what I tried. I removed all devices from PC and narrowed it down to the Pluggable USB 3 10-port hub. If I connect the hub directly to the PC, bypassing the keystone jacks it works fine. Then I had several other USB 3 devices that wouldn't even be recognized when connecting through these jacks. If you're thinking about running cables like this through your walls do yourself a favor and skip the keystone jacks. I moved to straight cable runs by just using a passthrough wall plate and it works fine. I don't think these jacks are really USB 3.0 compatible.

Nice idea and elegant solution, YET not able to do USB 3. My LimeSDR's (usb 3 device) would only show-up as usb 2. Knowing that it worked as usb 3, i started replacing cables and sure enough, it's this cable. Really is a nice idea, it's not a usb 3 cable.

I used these in a custom car audio install and they worked great.
