Prefect for what I needed it for.

This extension cord is very sturdy and well made. It was difficult to find an 18 AGW cord so I bought two! My only suggestion is to make cords longer. The longest cord is only 25 feet.

I used this cord outside for Halloween decorations this fall. It worked as intended and held up the weather very well. After two months in the elements, I did not see any damage on the cord. The rain did not affect the cords, however I did have the plugs in Socket boxes. Overall, I'd recommend this cord since it is durable and does the job.

It's unfortunately rare that a product meets all my needs and expectations, but this one surely does. Yes, it's just an extension cord, but I needed three for my recording studio, and not just any old cords would do in the scheme of hooking up tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment to be used by a very fussy person... me! I needed black cords that are nice and flexible, with quality electrical connections, and that would drape nicely through equipment racks, along with other interconnecting cables. I was looking specifically for 18 gauge cables because the current demands would be low, and they would have the best chance of being flexible, but I also wanted them to have a good-quality outer jacket, and these really do. So Tripp Lite totally hooked me up, and I am 100% happy!
