Tripp Lite RBC93-2U UPS Replacement Battery Cartridge

Battery pack came clearly used and could not be returned. Beware.

This is the OEM battery. Easy installation and no need to worry about quality or warranty.

This battery pack was very easy to install. After removing the cover, I was able to disconnect & remove the old one and then the new one slid right back in without a hitch. It was even possible to do it without powering the UPS or my servers off! One word of caution, however - - at least on my UPS, there are some plastic spacers surrounding the installed battery. Make sure to take note of their position & put them in place before installing the new battery - otherwise, you may encounter some difficulty getting everything to line up properly.

I made sure I bought these from Amazon.com (and not a side vendor) to help increase my odds that I not get counterfeit. To my delight, these were replacement parts from Tripp Lite. I knew because the Tripp Lite invoice to Amazon was still in the box. And the date code had it manufactured within months of delivery to me so I knew the batteries were fresh. So if you buy them from Amazon, the chance are they are a real Tripp Lite part.

I saved a bunch of money on these batteries. It's a shame however for the environmental impact the production has on folks in some poor country and the damage it's going to cause our kids when this thing's buried in the ground and seeping who knows what into drinking water.
