Why did it not come with mounting hardware??

This made cabling a snap. The anti-stress clips are a nice touch to protect the fitting where the CAT7 wires meet the RJ45.

Tripp Lite is always on the higher end of the price range when comparing products, and in certain instances there is no reasonable justification. For example: If you need a standard 6 ft. USB A to USB B cable, then choosing to pay 30% more for a Tripp-Lite cable over the 50+ cables available from alternative brands is simply poor financial management. That said, this is an instance where the quality of design and superior manufacturing of this product, combined with the limited options available for a grounded, shielded, cat6 feed-through patch panel more than justify the cost. Having past experience with the standard punch-down RJ45 keystones typically found on patch panels, in my opinion there is an exponential increase in the ease of use and time saved organizing patches with these feed-through connectors. This product is well thought and includes port numbers on both the front and back of the panel, as well as a detachable cable management bar on the rear that includes individual cable clamps with thumb screws. The grounding wire is located on the inside of the front panel and is terminated with a spade connector. This allows the ground wire to be connected to the rack chassis and fastened in place via one of the screws used to mount the panel to the rack rails. Brilliant!

Without a doubt the best patch panel ever designed! Why bother with a punch down tool when you can have shielded and grounded RJ45 connections and the ability to simply unplug when you want/need!

Was exactly what i was looking for to clean up our server rack. Cat6, RJ45 connections in the back that pass thru to the front. Allowed all the equipment (sever, nas, cable modem, t1) that has connections in the rear of them to be connected into the back of this panel and labeled before getting connected to the switch. Its a in-rack patch panel that you dont have to cut cat cable and punch down. Gives me much more flexibility for adding new equipment.
