not a prefected product

the first one that I received did not work at all, Amazon replaced that and it worked for a couple of times then would connect but had to wiggle the adapter, Now it just does not work at all. Very disappointing. will probably return all.

Hey, its a cable

Yep, it's just an adapter cable. It works on my friend's older Mac laptop and works well. For some reason these were hard to locate on Amazon.com. My searches for Mini DVI to DVI adapter pulled up a lot of Mini HDMI to DVI, or Mini DVI to VGA, or Mini DVI to HDMI. The laptop connector is a tight fit, which is good. I am not worried about it falling off.

It does work if you can sit and hold it in precisely the correct position with exactly the right pressure. Otherwise it is all lines and incorrect colors. I will be calling for an exchange. I can not recommend this product.
