Purchased a HP8 Fury and 2 - 24" monitors directly from HP. The monitors had the HDMI cables, but the Desktop had the mini HDMI plug in. This cable connects from that monitor HDMI to the Desktop mini-HDMI. Perfect. No issues.

Other adapters failed to work but his active adapter worked well I can now use my old Apple Cinema display with my MS Surface dock. I only had a short while unsure of the reliability.

This was bought for my MacBook Air A1465. I brought this brand in particular because a friend at work let me borrow his as I had lost mine and it worked very well. It is perfect because I am able to connect to any of the older media equipment at my campus. As soon as I popped it in and then attached the VGA cable my other monitor immediately responded. Teaching classes that are hybrid F2F and virtual online in a combined model requires a second monitor to be able to reach all of my special education students simultaneously!! This hub is perfect for the needed connectivity. Also for the diversity of 4 different connectors it can’t be beat. It includes VGA, HDMI, DVI, and the USB C outputs. The connector is to my MacBook Air A1465 so it has the lightning thunder connection. Versatile, sturdy, lightweight case, and an excellent price of about $18 with taxes added. Definitely a 10+ in my estimation and experience with this brand and this type of hub.
