Tripp Lite 10ft Cat6 Gigabit Snagless Molded Patch Cable RJ45 M/M Yellow 10

It's a Cat6 patch cable of the length I needed. Tested good, installed it, and it works.

This is an excellent purchase. Well made and solid.

I bought this, because something on my computer went crazy. I use the internet daily, but didn't feel like putting my computer in the shop for a week or two, while I waited for a part to come in. I had a 5 foot cable, which wasn't quiet long enough. I thought the 10 foot cord would do the trick. But now, I'm thinking about buying the 25 foot cord, so I can run the wire along the top of the ceiling, so I will not have to worry about tripping over it. The 25 foot cord would reach a lot farther that what the 10 foot cord does.

As per title: good quality. Ideal boot type, not one of the shrouded latch covers that are so hard to press to release. My only negative is the cable stiffness. Used on small devices they can tug them around. I've had to use cable ties at times only because of that. I'm kinda picky about these things (as I use a LOT of cables of all types). These are close to but not THE perfect patch cable for all uses due to the stiffness. SO close...

These may cost a little more than your basic Monoprice (or similar) patch cable, but they are built more solidly. I have a few of these for places where I need something a little more rugged; I'm using one for an outdoor run and have had no issues at all. I also like that the jacks are unbooted.
