It is hard to find a power strip that puts the on/off switch on the opposite end to the cord. They must use a little extra wire inside to make this happen, but it improves the product tremendously. I have all of my 3D printing equipment plugged into this OUTSIDE of the cabinet and I no longer have to reach back in the dark fumbling for the switch; it's right up front where it should be. Why isn't this the standard? Saving a few cents on wiring hardly seems worth making an inferior product. Kudos to Tripp!

I wanted a power strip that that had the power button / switch at the opposite end from where the power cord come into the power strip. That way the power switch is easier to get to when the power strip is in use.

Great placement of switch at opposite end. Worked fantastic for 10 months. Ground led now not illuminating (line okay and protected LEDs are on). Plugged into other house circuits, still no light. TV when plugged in, would not go into standby. Other plug ins do work. Cannot reset. A couple other reviews mentioned same problem. Now, for a $30 product, 10 months later, do I return to Amazon, or return to manufacturer, or just not waste my time doing either?

This unit has the switch and cord exit at opposite ends. Not the usual configuration but what I wanted. The outlet spacing is good and the switch is solid.

When two of these Surge Protectors were delivered to my home the middle indicator, which is RED in color, has the word "Grounded" under it, whereas the photograph in Amazon's description on their site has the word "FAULT" under it. I think the surge protectors I received may have the wrong plastic housings installed because I can't believe that a proper "Grounded" indication would use a lit RED LED. It makes more sense that a FAULT indication would use a RED LED, and normally that LED would not be lit. The RED LED's on my Surge Protectors do not light up, and the manufacture e-mails me back and says that the LED should be on in a normally wired situation. I used a plug-in wiring fault indicator on the outlet and it says my outlet is wired correctly. I also plugged in the fault indicator into the Surge Protector and it says the Surge Protector outlets are wired correctly. I'm not very happy that the item I received is different than the item in the description. It makes me think that something is wrong with the way they were built.
