Installée en réseau Poe , chargement de l’application Sentinel , flash du QR code Et l‘image apparaît, finalisation de l’installation en réglant à l‘aide du téléphone ou tablette, et serrant la bague de maintien. Il me reste à installer les programmes de gestion , alerte etc… déjà téléchargé sur le site , ainsi que l‘enregistrement de la garantie. La documentation est imposante 50 pages et la seconde 35 pages (en français) foule de détail selon le choix pour le paramètrage Excellent produit c‘est clair. Nota ma première Caméra est restée enregistrée et les notes pour Firmware téléchargeables, sérieux chez TrendNet ! Merci

I was already familiar with the brand, so I figured this would be a good quality camera. We have several power over ethernet cameras set up for peace of mind. This one delivers in terms of the visual quality that you get. The resolution is superb for a camera of this price. And the night vision feature works well. Looks pretty simple, but packs a punch in terms of the features and function.

The TRENDnet POE IP camera was very easy to setup on a POE switch using a POE splitter. I tested the camera on the bench to confirm that it is working before I relocated it to the final installation location. The Sentinel app was very easy to install and use. I, however, wanted to test this on a Windows 10 PC with the intention of using a Windows NVR. I downloaded the View Manager software and it installed easily. There are a lot of fields to fill in on the login page and not all of them are self-explanatory. So I was not able to test the camera out in a Windows 10 environment. I will try and build a Linux based NVR and see if it is easier to use in that environment. I like the high resolution video and the night-vision. It is also small and will be easy to mount out of reach and over a doorway with the Ethernet cable connecting it back to the switch through a POE splitter.

Amazing camera. Got this replacing a VERY old camera I had set up. This is SO much better. Simple install where the old was and I was up and running immediately. The picture quality is good and being able to pan and set up an area specifically that I wanted watched is great. Definitely a good buy here.

I did a quick setup of the camera and installed the TRENDnet Sentinel App (supports iOS and Android) as directed in the first step of the instructions included with the camera. I was able to add the camera by scanning the QR code on the camera in the App but after that, things quickly went downhill. In the App, you can see the scene the camera is pointed at but to me it wasn't very user friendly. Also, I didn’t see a way to add the camera via an IP address so you’ll want to scan the QR code before mounting it to a ceiling (maybe adding by IP address just wasn’t immediately obvious). The camera itself is very nice. It has some heft to it - not some flimsy thing. It comes with mounting hardware and a template for marking the screw locations and for the network cable hole. The manual adjustments for positioning the camera are a bit on the stiff side but I think that's a plus - the camera isn't easily disturbed from where it is set to view. Since I don't have a surveillance system, I tried to set this camera up using my Synology NAS. I wasn't able to get it to work but it may be because Synology doesn't yet support this camera model in Surveillance Station. I'll work with it further and will update my review when/if I can get it working.
