I use it to connect my NAS & WIFI & my Modem With my EERO home network, everything is working good.

A previous reviewer praised it's having all connections on one side. After thinking about it, I have to agree with the sentiment. Also, it's heavy enough that it doesn't slip around quite as easily as some of the other cheap ethernet desktop switches. Other than that... I dunno. It does what it is supposed to do, and at this price, that's about what you can ask for, and having done what it is supposed to do, and doing it well, and not bothering with any non-essential silliness, it deserves, and gets, a 5.

This is a basic unmanaged switch, nothing special. Except that both power and Ethernet connections are on the same side. This sounds unimportant, but makes wire management SO much easier. Love it.

The switch is small and made out of metal which is great. I had an older 100mbit version that worked great as a laptop bag switch for those times it was necessary. While the switch works fine, the wall wort power adapter that came with it is DOA. I have an entire junk drawer full of old power supplies so finding a 5v with the right connector wasn't a problem, but it was disappointing. You get what you pay for I guess, and in this case all the dollars go into the metal switch and not the power supply.

I have used a bunch of these. They all work great. Great gigabit speeds and a fanless design for quiet operation. No issues. I also appreciate how this is one of the only small gigabit unmanaged switches with ports on the back side. This design makes for a much cleaner look. Would continue to buy again when needed.
