Plugged into the motherboard, installed the driver and it was good to go. I did have to bend the piece that attaches to the computer case to secure the screw properly but that may be an issue with the design of the mobo or case. Aside from that, no issues and the WiFi is fast.

Upgrading my old PC from wired to wireless, this card did the trick. Just as fast as being hardwired with easy installation. There is no CD or USB in the box. You'll need to get the drivers from TP-Links website before you do the install. Once you have the drivers downloaded, install the card, install the drivers, voila, you should be golden. We don't have WiFi 6E yet, just on WiFi 5. But, when/if we upgrade, this card is ready for the newer protocol. I didn't install the Bluetooth option as I didn't need it. Also, no tech support needed. Pretty simple and easy install.

I tested the performance of the WiFi built into my motherboard, an MSI B550M PRO-VDH WiFi ProSeries Motherboard. It was adequate but caused trouble when I had to move large files from one server to another. The maximum speed I could achieve from one server to another using the motherboard WIFi was 39.7 Mbits/sec. Not bad. I switched to this Wifi card and was able to get 15.8 Gbits/sec. That's close to 40 times as fast as the motherboard WiFi. What a great product. I had no idea that Wifi could be this good. Truly amazing.

I wasn't sure how well it would work with the antennas buried deep in an entertainment nook, with the wood shelves and TV obscuring my WiFi booster that is diagonally across the room in a far corner. It works great! I am using it for Internet browsing and video, and, more challenging, to handle five simultaneous HD video streams from Foscam video cameras. Fantastic, really performs! The package includes a shorter back upright steel piece for the PCI card to fit the smaller chassis on my HP Z240 slim workstation. It comes set up with a longer one for a full-size chassis such as on a big tower computer. It was easy to change to the smaller one. I am not using the Bluetooth feature because my motherboard does not have an available USB pin socket to connect the supplied cable for connecting the Bluetooth feature of the TP-Link PCI card. But I just wanted it for the WiFi and could not be more pleased!

I ended up buying three of these so that all my PCs could run WIFI 6 and the Bluetooth was a bonus. I run Linux on my gaming PC and it works right out of the box. TP-Link might not work will with Linux, but this runs an Intel Chipset and it was picked up right away (well, after I got properly seated it recognized it right away). For the Bluetooth, it is connected via a USB header which was not an issue for me but you might want to check before ordering. For the connectivity I can wear my earbuds throughout the entire house and they will remain connected. Its quite impressive considering my phone has issues when I bend down. I can leave a show or twitch going on my desktop and walk into the garage and not run into any issues. We are going to try and see if it will connect to a vinyl cutting machine upstairs in the near future. Ill let yall know how that goes. If I end up with more PCs that need to be wireless I will be picking up more of these.
