we were having poor wifi coverage in some locations around our house effecting our tv and compute performance , after installed this router we now have verry improved performance every were in our house even in our garage, verry happy with this product,fast delivery fair price,

My “home hub 3000” modem/router supplied by Bell canada has garbage wifi signal and was only getting 10MB in my room directly above the router. I live in a cookie cutter new style mass production house(thin walls and open concept house) so signal should be amazing because there isn’t any obstacles for the signal to go through. I was only getting 10MB 15 feet from the router lol. I bought this router and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. Now I’m my room, I can attain upwards of 300mb over wifi. Compared to the 10MB I was getting with the bell Canada equipment. All in all this is definitely worth the money and is definitely an upgrade. Perfect for gaming.

The description said this router was new. The one that arrived said it was refurbished and only had a 90 day waranty.

I upgraded to Shaw's Ignite Gigabit plan a few months ago and it came with an Ignite Gateway Gen 2 modem and router combo. While the modem is fine, putting it bluntly, the router portion is literal garbage. Very poor range, frequent though brief disconnections, and terrible speeds and reliability as a result. The modem/router is in one bedroom and I'm in the other bedroom right beside it, no more than a few meters apart. My measured download speed was around 50-80 Mbps. For Steam, I was getting between 5.5 MB/s to 11.1 MB/s. After installing this router to supplement the Shaw modem, the results were immediate. Significant improvements to all the previous issues mentioned, speed, range, and reliability. A random screenshot of a speedtest I just did shows a download speed of 777 Mbps. The highest was over 840 Mbps while the average during peak times was between the mid 600s and 700s. My highest on Steam so far was 94.9 MB/s. I have also not lost connection so far. I'm very happy to finally get the speeds I'm paying for thanks to this router.
