***Update: Well, this has been a terrific unit for the past 1 yr, 4 months, but now the ethernet ports have started failing on two of the three devices. Down to one star since there is no warranty remaining and I need the ethernet ports for my computer, movie server, and PS5*** I'm ecstatic. I just upgraded from the Deco M4 (AC1200) to the Deco XE75 (AC5400) and couldn't be happier. Setup was extremely easy (as usual) using the Deco app. I was able to delete my old network and set up the new network quickly and painlessly. The only hiccup I had was that I wasn't able to name the new network the same as my old network, so I used a different name and then when everything was set up and working, I changed it back to my old network name. As soon as I made the change, all of my devices immediately came back online. This router and mesh network is amazing. Stepping up from the previous Deco unit, my speeds have increased up to 4x as fast as before. I have a 1.5GB high speed network via Telus. Now that the wireless backbone is Wifi 6, the speeds and reliability between all three units in my house is solid, stable, and fast. I'm getting download speeds on my devices of between 800 and 900 mb/s whereas I was getting 200 - 300 mb/s with my previous Deco setup. Another thing I love about the XE75 is that I have three ethernet jacks on each router rather than the previous 2. This is a godsend in my office where I need the hookups for my desktop PC, PS5, and movie server (Plex / NVidia Shield). I've hooked up an NVidia shield box on both of my other routers also in the Living room and Bedroom via ethernet. Something many people don't think about is the quality of their ethernet cables. Most people think they are all the same but they're not. Along with upgrading to the XE75 mesh network, I swapped out all of my old ethernet cables with brand new Cat8 cables and the speeds I'm getting now are extraordinary. I have clean, fast, stable connections on all of my wired electronics. This is a serious game changer for me. I finally feel as though my network speeds justify my high speed internet plan with Telus. Also, we are in a rural area with bad cell reception, so we need solid high speed connections for Wifi calling on our Google Pixel phones - this will make a huge difference in our quality of life. As an FYI, I'm running seven security cameras, 6 wifi thermostats, smart plugs, media streaming devices, Google Nest Hub, phones, tablets, chromebooks, Legion Go handheld, tablets, etc and the XE75 is handling everything like a champ. This mesh system can handle up to 200 devices simultaneously compared to my old M4 which could do 100. This new system is so much more capable and even includes faster processors. Do yourself a favor and purchase this mesh network if you are on the fence, it is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs solid speeds throughout their home.
