This thing is very powerful. I have it installed on the second story of my garage and can easily obtain signal 300 ft away. One surprise to me is that even though this is directional it still puts out a pretty strong signal behind it too. Definitely happy with the purchase.

I have 2 of these set up for my 16 acre property, home use. Set up was very simple for someone inexperienced in networks. Perfomance is excellent and I have coverage over the majority of the property. The range is even better than advertized. Biggest area of improvement would be the weatherproof cap for the ethernet cord is very small. I have 5 different brand outdoor ethernet cables and none could fit through it, i had to remove the plastic clip guard and remove most of the rubber coating, even doing this it was still a pain and broke several of the plastic pieces off. I have other weatherproof ethernet couplers that are slightly larger and the cables fit through those. If they had made it a mm or 2 larger it would be so much better without impacting the westherproofing which is achieved by the rubber ring around the cord base.

I was tired of running repeaters in the house. I mounted this outside on top of my chimney overlooking the house and now I get 5 of 5 bars every where at home and outside 2/3s a block in every direction. Maybe a bit over kill, but my signal issues are now fully resolved. LOL. I did get a bad passive injector (powered the radio, but no link light, POE worked just fine), but TPLink support shipped one out to me, without any drama. Very happy with the purchase!

the product is good and works well. The issue is the instructions are minimal.

Was tired for crappy commercial router performance. I've paired two of these bad boys outside, and two APs inside, added a omada router to go with it, now my internet doesn't drop out. Yeah I was alot more money but I'm happy
