TP-Link AXE16000 Quad-Band WiFi 6E Router (Archer AXE300) - Dual 10Gb Ports Wireless Internet Router, Gaming Router, Supports VPN Client, 2.5G WAN/LAN Port, 4 Gigabit LAN Ports

I needed to upgrade my old tires mesh system (OG Google nest) and I needed more speed/bandwidth to steam to my Steam Deck. I tried the Asus ROG Rapture GT6 mesh system but had nothing but problems. I returned it and bought another, thinking I was just unlucky. Still had issues not only with streaming from my PS5 to my Steam Deck but also hardware issues where I needed to restart the system every day. Finally returned it and bought this single router (AXE16000/AXE300) and it’s a night and day difference. Set up was easier, so far no restarts, solid. 6E helps a lot, I can stream my PS5 to my Steam Deck without any issues at all. The TP-Link app is great, similar to the Asus app but a lot cleaner. Very happy with this router.

Es un equipo nuevo, que actualiza a otros modelos como el AX11000 que es un router similar de la misma marca. Es muy facil de configurar, muy sencillo e intuitivo. Es prácticamente un equipo para uso continuo y de batalla. La potenchai de todas sus bandas es extraordinaria, rompe muros y es muy estable. Lo unico malo que le encontré, es que a diferencia de su modelo predecesor, en esta version cobran extra por antivirus online, control parental y otras funciones. Cuando en su predecesor estaba incluido sin costo.

Easy to setup. I did have one initial problem. My old router was 192.168.0.1. This one comes preset to 192.168.1.1. I have a PV panel inverters, a NAS and laser printer set with static IP addresses to the old router at 192.168.0.1 I emailed TP-Link TS late on a Friday about and received a reply about 24 hours later. The address of the router can be changed in the router in the Network/LAN settings. Do this if you need it before doing anything else (unlike me...LOL). You'll thank me for it. I did have a number of email conversations with TP-Link TS before I bought the router. Their replies were always prompt then as well as the one I had about changing the router's address. TP-Link should be highly thought of for their support operations. One small issue I still have is that my Ring doorbell gets a "weak signal". My front door is at the other end of my 2400 SF home. It's about as far away from the router as it could be. I might have a TP-Link AX5400 (RE815X) as a future buy. Waiting on a TP-Link TS response to a couple of questions about the RE815X before buying. Otherwise I am very impressed by the AXE300 and TP-Link TS so far and wish that all companies were as responsive as they are.

First, this router has excellent features and exactly what I wanted: 2x 10gbe port for the computer and NAS. However, the wifi signal isnt good at all. I have it in the office downstairs but the upstairs bedrooms which are around 30-40ft away diagonally get only half the wifi6 strength and zero 6ghz wifi6E. The whole house is only 2000sf and but huge router can't cover it. Too bad, gotta try something else.
