my only complain is that it overheats if you put it on 5G so I would recommend putting it on top of your computer case where the case fan exhausts air too cool it off, but don't block the fan completely, only a small portion of it. Too bad it isn't magnetic, but I bought it on sale for around $20 so I'm not complaining, I wouldn't pay more than $25 for this, would rather upgrade to something that gives me 1600 mbps for $35+ or something, I'm either a value guy or go big go home guy and this network adapter for $20 (on sale) is really good value.

I switched to this adapter after I was having Wi-Fi issues in my house. Found out later it had nothing to do with my adapter, but even so, I noticed a significant increase in my Download and Upload speed right off the bat. It has a pretty far range and is a great little alternative to an entire router. As long as you are able to access the internet on your computer, the install is extremely simple. (Use a mobile hotspot on your computer to install the driver off the website if you don't have a DVD slot for TP products) Have had it for about a year now and my speeds have never been better.

I loved this product, once installed in my pc immediately got a strong and steady signal and this doesn't even ask me for drivers to install...5g signal works neat!!!

When it works, it works well. But my experience overall has been negative. My first unit died completely within a month of purchase. After a labyrinthine return process involving two separate offices (one in Canada, one elsewhere, but where was never clear, and one of which accused me of not returning the adapter when there was proof of delivery from the shipper) who had no idea what the other was doing or what the other was telling me to do, a replacement was eventually received. Now, less than three months after receiving the replacement, it too is failing. Yesterday it completely stopped working, but after being disconnected and reconnected it seemed to work again. This evening the speed completely vanished, giving me 2mb/s download on a network that normally has 300+. Unplugged, plugged it back in again and it seems to be working again. Who knows for how long? I had hoped that this thing would work, but I simply cannot rely on it. Will be buying a replacement from another company. Very disappointing.
