TP-Link 2.5GB PCIe Network Card (TX201) – PCIe to 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter, Supports Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7, Win Server 2022/2019/2016, Linux 2.5G PCIe Adapter(Newer Model)

I purchased this NIC card to replace my onboard Killer E2400. The NIC card was immeadiatly recognized and setup. I did not have to do anything but connect the cables. I have a 1Gbt modem and I get all of it.

Had a heck of a time getting 2.5 gig up and down and it was all due to the drivers. I bought this since I have fiber and the router speed check was at 2.5 gigs. The problem was in not keeping the original drivers it comes with and dont update them. The updated drivers would only allow me 1450 down and 1150 up speeds. Make sure your router can handle the 2.5 gig since most cannot. Some have a 2.5 gig port in coming but in most that is the only port that works at 2.5 gig and its not an out going port. Most outgoing are only 1 gig speed rated since most services are not much more. After some tweaking and playing with the drivers the speed is 2350 both up and down. Took a bit but I am finally happy with this and getting the speeds I was promised. The install is super easy and the drivers load easily also.

Does exactly what i hoped. Installed in Windows 10 older PC, with upper end hardware. Repacing the Motherboard Connection that either couldn't handle the new speeds or router from Comcast. Bought this based on reviews and BOOM i am on line, running at 950 and just friggin perfect. Easy to install hardware and driver. Don't see how you could beat this for the price in relation to performance and quality.

I recently upgraded my internet speed to 1200gb+ and wanted to maximize the bandwidth on my network. My poweredge t30 bios was upgraded but rolled back to make use of the nvme slot on the motherboard. I plugged the card into a pci slot and it was picked up right away. I installed updated drivers from tp-link and the card has been performing great.
