Synology 4 Bay DVA Deep Learning Video Analytics DVA3221 (Diskless)

I aint gonna lie, this item is a bit pricey. however it has done everything it advertised, and more. It seems like every couple months I find out i can do things, that i did not even know i wanted to do. for example i wanted to know who was the last one that used the quad. however i wasnt even sure what weekend it was used. I just set the feed to scan for when the quad changed position and show me the times when that happened without me sitting in front of my pc for hours scanning all video footage. Took me about 10 minutes to find the user. and saw the event happened about 3 weeks prior. that would of been a lot of scanning, if it wasnt for the AI capabilities.

I will never buy another synology product. I have several servers and will move to another platform when they reach their end. Synology made the horrible decision to lock these things down so their money can be made in "their" memory and HDD upgrades. Those are way over priced and not worth the money. Synology products are now only for corporate-level budgets. Which is stupid because a corporation would never use one of these. Bye bye, Synology. On how I loved thee ........ until now.
