Audio Streaming - top

Wir nutzen zwei der Transceiver in unserem Audio-Streaming-Netzwerk. Genau das Produkt (single-mode) wurde im Internet ausdrücklich empfohlen für diesen Einsatzzweck. Wir waren neugierig, da unsere früheren Erfahrungen mit einer multi-mode Glasfaserstrecke schlecht waren, wir haben alles wieder abgebaut. Offensichtlich kommt es nicht nur auf die galvanische Trennung der Komponenten an, sondern auch auf das Übertragungsverfahren. Die Transceiver empfehle ich gern.

Branded random "china made" crap?

The housing does not make contact with the RJ45 cable's ground. This seems to be common for all low-end "china made" SFP+ modules. Many applications require that the cabling is shielded (to meet EMC demands). This module lacks "metallic fingers" that connects the cable's connector ground with the chassis that holds the SFP+ module. So using shielded cables is useless with this SFP+ module. My advice is to buy a really cheap SFP+ module instead of this one. This one is expensive but most likely not better than any other "china made" SFP+ module.

Works with Ubiquiti. Does NOT work with NetGear

Tested on Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 10XP and Netgear GC110. Worked great on the Ubiquiti but did not work at all on the Netgear.

Good product, a bit spendy

Works as described quite well, seems a bit expensive but these SFP modules vary dramatically in price and this one is likely better made.
