I will say upfront that I am no "techie" but I have a nephew who is brilliant with computer repair and even owns his own business serving most of our local major businesses so he really knows his stuff. I do however have a boatload of old computers that I received when my uncle passed so I handing him these parts and told him to do his magic and get them up and running for me so I could hopefully recover them or at least have some backup computers. This item worked great on a computer and he was able to get it up and running just fine after all this time. These parts really are good quality parts and he said that he was very impressed with them and would consider servicing with this brand when he was out of the parts he has stocked from another brand was gone. This module is plug and play! I tested my fiber network after installing this module on a cables and kits Cisco switch and the signal was well within specs and the throughput exceeded 1 Gigabit during small and large file read and writes.

Took this to the data center, happy to get a fiber adapter for our Juniper, and was not disappointed. No configuration, just plugged it in, connected the fiber patch and away we went. Consistently fast for sustained transfers, had no problems with it whatsoever.
