Misleading, buyer beware, it USB powered but for sound you have to use 3.5mm jack “green” connection!!! The sealer should change the AD to correctly describe the connection type of this sound bar! Very misleading!!!

Really great speaker. The sound quality is very good. The volume button is easy to access and I enjoy that there is a headphone jack. It lost a star due to the fact that it didn't fit my HP monitor. I had to use double sided tape to mount it. Putting a list of compatible monitors would make this a no brainer to buy.

Decent speakers that are able to slide into my monitor, you need to plug them into a headphone jack tho. So you can't do things like use a Chromecast device on it. My monitor is E240, ignore people who gave this bad reviews because it didn't fit their monitor, that isn't HP's fault that is their fault. Don't expect anything amazing out of these, they are good enough for what you need to do, there might be slight static sometimes....play around with it. The bar mounts to your monitor so it clears up desk space and if you dock your laptop then you can enjoy having the sound come straight at you, rather than from the side (assuming you would play music out of your docked laptop to your side)

It's okay. Fairly nice timbre, and it mounted BEAUTIFULLY (as designed) for my brand new HP Z27n monitor. Too bad my HP monitor was defective out of the box and had to be returned (what a HORRIBLE process, that had me transferred to Mumbai, then to Jakarta, back to New Deli ... and then some slacker dude in Calexico CA ... uggggh ... and after more than a week ... I am still monitorless). No doubt that SERIOUS gamers and YouTube cat-video viewers can get a better sound system than this speaker bar ... BUT ... this mounts unobtrusively under my (hopefully soon-to-be-replaced-dead-HP-monitor) and sounds better than the tiny speaker hidden somewhere on my computer. NOTE: this also has a very conveniently-placed headphone jack next to the volume knob on the right side of the speaker bar. NOTE ALSO: my DEAD HP monitor sitting BLACK (it won't turn on) on my desktop. So much for my HP loyalty of 38 years ... time to move.on.I.guess.com
