You can copy your old settings from your old sonicwall fire wall and transfer them to this one. Which saved a lot of time. I did hire a IT guy to come and help me do that initial setup though. This thing does work much faster at data management. then the previously model 300. The 3 yr security code did work. This is my second sonicwall and so far i have never had a unwanted intrusion so i will continue to use this product and buy its upgrades every 3-6 years. Avoiding ransomware is pretty important for me. This also helps protect my clients data. I was recommended this from my IT friend who works in Networking at large human hospitals. The support from dell is real. It is hit and miss though if you get a dell rep that you can understand. Or if that tech Knows how to fix your problem. Sometimes you gotta call at different times to get a tech who is trained on this specific device. Dell does not really support email appointment setup/assistance. You gotta just call in for a ticket and get setup with someone right away or get a call back. Which is a little awkward TBH. I dont get why not make it able for me to set up an appointment with a guy who for sure knows this device in and out and can provide me service at a time that works for both parties.
