Works, handy to provide adjustability for a monitor with an oem fixed stand, is heavy but not too heavy where moving it with a monitor on is impossible. Overall the vesa plate is removable from the stand and enables easier moving if desired. I got this to drop my 32" monitor down 3 inches so that it was more ergonomic. I also really love the tool holder as it enables me to keep the tools close without needing to bag and stuff it somewhere near or on the setup. I would change the design to have two screws to tighten the clamp that goes up n down the shaft for adjusting the monitor. The reason is that heavy monitors, like the 32", causes it to fall when loosening. Have two would enable two different tensions; one at the top to enable downward motion, when loosened at the top, and one at the bottom to enable upward motion, when loosened at the bottom.
