I have long hair and all 3 of my daughters do as well. Between the 4 of us and pets I was worried that the brush would be a pain to unravel when hair inevitably got tangled around it. To my surprise I have had no issues with things getting wound around it! Also, if something too large it sucked up it come apart in multiple places making it relatively easy to find the clog and fix it. Being able to detach the canister from the floor head is really handy for stairs and ceilings.

This vacuum works wonders! I have many furred animals in my house so I have ground in fur in all my carpets all the time. This vacuum pulls it out so easily, it even saved a door mat I had relegated to outdoor duty due to so much fur in it. A few passes over and the dang thing looked practically new! It is on the heavier side but it maneuvers really well, I can use it to vacuum my stairs as is , no special tool required. Quite pleased with this vacuum.

This vacuum pulls the dirt and pet hair right out of the carpet and works well on hardwood as well. Today I was cleaning window screens and remembered the vacuum had a lint attachment. I tried it on the window screens and it worked amazingly well. Really a time saver. Pulled the dust dirt and pet hair right outs the screens and had them looking like new.

I have a cordless dyson and I like it! But this vacuum is the most amazing thing I have ever used. The price point is perfect and I will never use another vacuum. Found myself vacuuming at 6 am because it’s easy to use and so satisfying. It works GREAT on both carpets and hardwood flooring. The way it detached for stairs is great the handle detaching is so convenient and the brush does not get hair wrapped in it. I have a lab/collie mix that sheds like crazy and a husband who does barn chores and does not take Off his boots as well as an in home daycare with 6-10 toddlers running around and this is a life saver. Buy it.

I purchased this vacuum when my expensive Dyson fell apart after 3 years. It's been an adjustment to go from cordless back to fussing with a long cord. But I've been pleasantly surprised to see what a good job of cleaning my new Shark does. Noticeably so, though I'd thought the Dyson was doing fine. It's also much gentler on my Persian carpet, while the Dyson took a lot of carpet fibre with it each time I vacuumed. It's also much easier to empty the Shark canister, which is what broke on the Dyson. The big drawback of this upright Shark is that it can't go under furniture past the first 20 cm or so. Suddenly I can't vacuum under the bed, couch, tables, without pushing them around and pulling them away from the walls. Big disadvantage. Shark could rectify the problem by including an attachment that could be used to get to the floor under things, because it does have a detachable hose and includes a couple of attachments, suitable for furniture (about 5 cm wide) and edges. I know everything is price sensitive, but paying another $20 for a machine that can do the entire floor would be very appreciated.
