Very good vaccuu,great suction and also light

It works well close up to edges. It is HEAVY but manageable. There is some cleaning required as the inner filter for the finer dust, etc. gets dirty/dusty. You can completely dissemble the clear chamber to clean it and that inner dust filter which builds up. The self clean function sucks most of the dust and dirt out but not the fine dust. Cleaning carpets results in increased suction and noise. It can be VERY difficult to clean carpets if you don't keep the vacuum moving. Another option is to adjust the suction to less so the vacuum doesn't get stuck.

Excellent vacuum!! Bought one for my Mom too

This is my first cordless vacuum. I’ve had a corded shark vacuum for 7 years and always wanted to get a dyson, but when I saw this one for a fraction of the price, I decided to go with this. Overall the vacuum is great. It sucks up things very well on any flooring. It can suck debris when pushing forward or dragging backward. The auto empty is amazing, I don’t have to empty out the dust everytime I use it. The downside however, the battery doesn’t last long at all. When I vacuum my second floor which is mostly carpet, it only runs about 15 mins!! I barely finish vacuuming all the rooms before the vacuum dies. I have to split up my vacuuming to a few days if I want to get all the floors. I’m not sure how other cordless vacuum perform as I’ve never had them. This vacuum has 3 suction mode, eco, auto detect, and high. Overall I’m happy with the purchase but for others who are looking to get this one, understand that it doesn’t last long when vacuuming mostly carpeted areas.
