I've always bought corsair psu's for all my builds from 2010 to now. I really wanted to try seasonic cause everyone raves about them. So for my living room PC I decided to try them. IMO this is just as top tier as corsair. Also has a better warranty as well. I do like the cables not being wrapped like most, and has a better look. Easily powers my system so that's a plus haha. You really can't go wrong with either company. But if you wanna try something new do it. Purchased this to replace a 7.5 year old Thermaltake that was apparently causing the PC to spontaneously reboot. Bought Seasonic on the brand's reputation and from what I can see this seems to be a well-made power supply with a more than adequate selection of cables that were more than long enough, even when routing them behind the motherboard tray. If anything it's possible I could have done with a couple of shorter cables. I've noticed no sound from the power supply, even while gaming, although to be fair at such times I may be more focused on the game. But in normal operation, completely silent.

Solid , heavy construction , 10 yr warranty . Seasonic is the premium of all power supplies When I buy a power supply I never skimp on quality , and I buy way over what I need . any PSU will only put out what is needed so If the system is needing 700w and its a 1000w psu ot will only put out 700w and run cooler then a psu that has to work at 100% and run hot and stress it out and shorten its life. I like the braided cables , each wire individually wrapped , but still flexible . The only con is that their is no 4 pin CPU cable , just 2 8 pin cables and their made as one unit so no way to put them in a 4 pin motherboard connector

The fan on this power supply is super loud. I have to put my ear up to my case fans to barely hear them. I can hear the power supply fan from across the house. Wasn't expecting to be disappointed by a Seasonic yet here we are...
