Works great. Very fast transfer speeds. And the Samsung name is reassuring. And 256GB for this price? Unbelievable! Think about that. That's more file storage space than most computers had just a few years ago. I backed-up all my important work files and and all my family photos and only used 1/3 of the available storage capacity. The only hitch might be the USB-C connector. While that's become commonplace on laptops these days, there are still a lot of USB-A connections too. For example, my laptop has a USB-C slot, but the hub I keep on my desk when it's in its docking station only has standard USB-A slots. But I picked up a connector (in fact a set of 2 each A-C and C-A) for $5. Problem solved. Just bought a few more to use as stocking stuffers for my grown kids this Christmas.

It's small, compact and fast. You'll need a standard USB adapter to plug it into older machines, but it doesn't seem to affect the speed.
