I did a ton of research regarding which memory card to purchase for my new dashcam. I bought a standard one for my old camera. I had no issues but upgraded to a much higher resolution, and the MicroSD card that came with the unit does not hold enough files (as it is only 32GB, it begins to overwrite files recorded the same day - I need more security than that). As the dash cam's maximum support is 128GB, I decided to go with this card. Unfortunately, I am reading many reviews with the same issue; the card fails rather quickly (while well under warranty), and support is non-existent once that happens. Upon reading recent reviews, the numbers range from 3 days to 3 months and appear to be standard/the average when failures occur. As a result, I have yet to open the card and place it in my dashcam, fearing it will stop working. I am strongly considering returning it unopened and ordering a different brand (SanDisk, which I always purchase). The failure rate for this MicroSD card appears to be higher than the other I was contemplating buying (though the rating percentage oddly does not reflect in the numbers). For now, I am rating it a four as changing the reviews to "Most Recent" order shows far too many assessments that share the same problem - the card dies and does so very quickly. If I choose to keep it and install it, I will return to update my review and rating to reflect whether it works well or I end up having the same issues as others.
