Nice strong magnets, good stand and viewing options

I got this case to use with my S8+ and I'm happy enough with it. The case provides basic protection at most and because of that it does keep the slim profile of the table. I was mainly wanting a case to let me safely set the tablet on the table without scratching it and this works. Additionally, the case comes with a spot to securely place the s-pen, on the inner side of the hinge, so now I don't need to worry about losing it. However, beyond the above use case I don't recommend this case for a few reasons. One, the case provides zero protection to the sides of the tablet so if you have it in your bag, it may get scratched. Second, the magnets are VERY strong; this is good because you can shake the tablet while holding one end of the case and the tablet will remain secure, but this isn't all good. Due to the magnet being so strong it is a bit difficult to open the front cover as well as peel the tablet off the back cover to prop it up for viewing. Third, there are only two angles you can prop the tablet at for viewing content or drawing, but the main issue is there isn't much friction keeping it there so placing your hand on it firmly while drawing will cause the case to collapse - so annoying!

The case works great, fits perfectly and it automatically turns off the screen when you close it. The magnets that hold it in the slanted position are quite strong and holds the unit well.

After 6 months of daily use, here is what I think of this cover: Pros. it's the official Samsung one so it fits perfectly! 2. I love the magnet slot in the middle of the book case for the stylus. Cons: It's pretty much expensive! I don't know about you but spending 100 bucks on a cover still hurts! 2. It catches dirt easily, although it's easy to clean, I find it annoying that it easily gets dirty at the first place!

I like everything about this case. - It fits perfectly - It totally protects the S-Pen. - It also provides the external S-Pen mangetic charging connectivity just like all previous Tab S's. - It also provides external S-Pen magnetic connectivity atop the tablet frame. There are now three points of magnetic connectivity of the S-Pen to this tablet if you buy this case. It's the best tablet case I have ever purchased. Vastly improved from my S6 experience with that S-Pen and associated cases. Samsung listened and improved their case(s). My only complaint - the box was opened and there were greasy finger prints all over it. Plus there were traces of se sort of "scum" that I had to clean off with water. NONE of that is Samsung, that's on Amazon. I literally don't know what foreign substance(s) were, but I never want another opened box again like this.
