The refresh rate is good to have when gaming, but it's brightness isn't that impressive. The picture quality is good, but can do with some more options for adjustments. The display is clear enough for a 27'' 1080p display. I use it for work as well and have no issues. Overall, for the price, it's a great entry/budget monitor for 144Hz gaming and productivity.

I was looking to purchase a monitor for a new computer but didn't have a lot of money. This was a purchase I am glad I made. The quality is extremely good, I don't have to mess with the brightness. The only change I'd make is the way you control it. There's a small joystick on the bottom that irritates me to use it - that and the blue light on the screen, i used a black sticker to cover that (if you're sensitive to light while sleeping and my monitor is in my room)
