Royal Sovereign International Photo & Document Laminator ES-1315

This is a big mouthed laminator that will be able to laminate up to A3 (which I think is the biggest general pouch size). With two rollers it should do a fairly even job, and the couple of tests I have done have made nice neat laminations. Sadly, I don't have any A3 pouches to try it out. Talking of which, this comes with a few pouches for you to play with if you don't have any - There's only three of each (US Letter and some thicker half-sized ones) but it's a nice touch. I have never tried cold lamination so I can't speak for that - So I am only able to comment on the hot lamination. The controls on this are digital and not the usual little dials, so I am hoping these last. One nice touch with this is that it has a little holder for the pouches coming out of the back. I know that sounds simple, but for some reason most laminators I have used (and still use) just pop it out of the back with no holder. My only problem with this, is that it doesn't fit onto the shelf under my printer where my existing laminator lives; so I guess I am going to have to find a new place for this. A nice easy five stars for now - I'll update if I get any issues.

Loved this laminator until it refused to turn on. Since I was too late for a return, I contacted the company but I needed to send it out and also pay for shipping so after opening it and seeing that it overheated, we decided to buy another brand and just throw out this one. Since I use it often, I did not have time to send it out, nevertheless having to pay for shipping.

I bought this for my daughter who works in a museum. They needed a quick and easy laminating machine for projects that required protecting of a sort. They've used this laminating machine non stop and love it. It warms up quickly. They've noticed an odor while the machine is running, but they are confident it will clear up when it's not so new.
