QNAP QSW-M408S 10GbE Managed Switch, with 4-Port 10G SFP+ and 8-Port Gigabit 4*10GbE SFP+ QSW-M408S

I can't say I recommend this switch. It looks nice, and provides several 10G ports at a reasonable price, but I am unimpressed overall. For starters -- it might be petty to dock a star over, but the power supply is really weird and nonstandard. Instead of putting the power supply in the switch, it comes with an external DC power brick like a laptop -- terrible for cable management. On top of that, the power actually makes its way into the switch by way of the green circle thing on the top -- that's a plastic cover over an unusually sized barrel plug that can pivot around 90 degrees or so. I don't understand this design decision at all, and I wish it just had an IEC C14 socket instead. My bigger issue with it, however, is the Web interface for controlling the smart/managed features. I'll save you the hour or so of troubleshooting and resetting and fighting and skip to the conclusion: the management interface is totally broken on Firefox. I just couldn't log in at all -- it asked me to reset the password, then claimed it failed to reset and refused to let me log in with either the default password or the one I set. I eventually worked around this by performing the initial setup on Chrome, but even once that was done, I still couldn't log in on Firefox (with no explanation except "Network Error." To their credit, the management console *looks* very polished and aesthetically pleasing, but the cryptic way it handles (or rather fails to handle) errors, and the seemingly undocumented dependency on Chrome, bespeak a piece of software that I feel is unready for the critical role a managed switch provides in my network.

自宅内の機器増加でポート数が不足して来たため追加目的で購入しました。 1Gbpsクラスであればコンパクトな筐体の方が設置場所を選ばないのでコンパクトで電源内蔵タイプを選定するのですが、10Gbpsでは過熱して不安定になる不安があったためこの機種を選択してみました。SFP+ポート間を距離を空けて配置している辺りに放熱性を意識して設計している意図が感じられ設計者が安定性を優先している見たいで気に入りました。実際にSFP+ポート全てにDACケーブルで接続したPC間同士で大量のデータバックアップを行なった場合でもほんのり温かく感じるかなという程度なので常時空調されていない場所に設置するには良い選択肢になると思います。値段もお手頃でおすすめですね。

急遽、有線化に伴い購入。お値段と性能で選んだつもりです。いまのところ過不足なく使えてます。

Bastante bueno y facil de gestionar, prácticamente lo compre para agregar un link de agregación de 4, funciona excelente. Que no me gusta? los cuatro puertos combinados 10G SFP, no le veo mucho sentido.

音は静か、価格も手頃、で、気に入ってはいますが、、、 Native VLANにしかIPアドレスの設定ができないため、 自分で作ったVLANを管理系にすることができません。 結果、考えていたような構成にならずちょっとモヤモヤするので-星ひとつマイナス。 それと、コンソールポートを持っているのにユーザーガイドなどに使用方法の記載がありません。 シリアルだと思いますが、だとしたらリファレンスが欲しい。なので星ひとつマイナス。
