Posturite Wired Penguin Mouse - Medium (9820100), Black ‎9820100

Despite following size measurements, this is too big for my hand (18cm from wrist to middle finger tip). I can't use it comfortably as it's too tall and long, making it harder to reach my fingers around the front, and causing strain on my wrist as I can't rest it at the right height. I'm not giving this one star, as possibly the small mouse wouldn't have these problems, but I'm not sure I'll try it, as this really feels like a lot more effort to move around than a regular mouse, plus it's clunky and bumps into my desk (I use a pull-out keyboard/mouse tray under my desk, and hadn't anticipated that a mouse could be so tall!)

The shape of this mouse is very helpful for my hand pain. However this (wired) mouse goes to "sleep" at a very short interval. I often use the mouse, switch to keyboard to type something, and by the time I move my hand back to the mouse it is unresponsive. Then I have to wiggle the mouse around to get the pointer to start moving again. I contacted Posturite customer support and they said this wasn't intended and asked me to send the mouse to them. They were very responsive but it's been over a month and no sign of them sending me a new mouse back. I figured I'd just buy another one that worked, but this brand new penguin has the exact same issue. So, great ergonomics but very frustrating mouse and support.

Pros - design, feels naturals and my arm is not wristed like a conventional mouse; buttons are located in great spots (left is above the wheel and right is below the wheel) and they make a click sound and cover a lot space); scrolling with the wheel is done with my index finger; right and left click is easy to figure out (a no brainer) Cons - sizing...borderline between Small and Medium, but after reading reviews, Medium is what I ordered; the wheel makes contact with my index finger...my thumb rests more natural, on the top and not in the groove (no huge bother for me)
