Extremely good and useful mouse.

It takes a few days to adjust to it, and the tracking and buttons aren't super precise, but for every day use and normal gaming its great. I wouldn't use this in a FPS tournament, but for point an click games, its great. The buttons can be a little slow to respond, and the scroll wheel sometimes locks on and just scrolls infinitely, but the wrist pain I've had for a years from decades of computer use was gone in under a month. I wish they had a larger size its slightly too small for my meat claws.

This mouse has a lot going for it, but Posturite should really redesign it after so many years to address some of the obvious issues with it. Firstly, the sizing I feel prioritizes those with larger hands, and there should be an extra-small size available. According to the company's own sizing recommendations, I should use size Medium, but I found that was too large; size Small was much better for me, if not ideal. The main reason why is that the body of the mouse is too thick and it forces the thumb to rest at an angle that's not ergonomic. This can cause pain and tenderness over time, in both hands if you take advantage of the ambidextrous form factor. A smaller size could address that design flaw, or better yet, a redesign of the body shape. The other negative point is the mouse wheel, which feels like a liability and can get jumpy if you overuse it. There have been numerous reports of this being the first component that goes bad in that mouse, so this should really be addressed by the manufacturer. On the other hand, you get two ergonomic mice for the price of one, which is fantastic to have if you can operate a mouse with both hands. This is the best feature of the Penguin mouse, along with the fact that it forces you to use your arm muscles for movement. For that, lower DPI settings are better for precision work. Overall, I am disappointed however that the mouse doesn't quite get the thumb position right. Something like a Unimouse could be a better alternative, but then you'd need to get a separate left and a right-handed option if you want ambidextrous. It's still a decent solution, but like anything to do with office equipment, moderation is best.

I though this mouse was a little expensive before buying it... I was very wrong, because it's exactly what I was looking for... my Carp Tunnel problem is better now (after 2 weeks using it). Thanks

This mouse has saved my wrist from continued RSI issues and I truly believe that anyone that suffers from RSI would benefit from this mouse. tl;dr Pros: * Great for helping with RSI * Found extremely easy to adapt to * Suitable for left/right handed (personally right handed but so many mice are right handed only) Cons: * No braided cable (for the price would expect it) * Had two fail after about 2 years of use (work usage) * No DPI memory However this is my third one in four years. My first was the wrong size but the cable cover has split and it no longer works (replaced after a year with a large, but cable broke after 2 years), my second one the left mouse button starting working intermittently which actually just caused me more wrist pain. My third though is still going strong. My gripe with this mouse is that for the price they charge it lacks anything that really warrants the price (other than reduce physio fees). I would expect for a £70 mouse a braided cable, and better quality as over a few years there has been a fair amount of wear on the case (silvers fading where my hands sit, and the texture over the black is wearing off), my last annoyance is it does not remember the DPI switch settings which means every morning I have to press the button to reset it. All those cons aside, this mouse has saved me from more serious RSI issues so I really do recommend it
