Polycom PoE Injector Power Kit - RealPresence Trio 8800 Power Kit

I have just noticed that the item received is not in its original packaging and is not compatible with the Polycom Trio 8800

This is nothing more than a Poly VVX x50 power supply with an adapter on the end to allow for an Ethernet cable. It is not the official Poly injector for the Trio 8800. I could have bought the same 2 pieces and rigged them together for less than $30. Furthermore, it doesn't work and it also ripped the pins out of the Trio 8800, ruining a $500 piece of equipment. I am Poly certified, have deployed 1000's of Poly devices and this unit is absolute garbage. Find the real deal elsewhere.

Did not work correctly with our Trio 8800. Phone gave voltage error warnings and would not obtain DHCP. Sending back for a refund.

Unfortunately it did not work with my polycom 8800 conference device. The polycom device simply didn't turn on. Once I spent the little extra and bought the real polycom POE adapter. which looks completely different from this device, my unit was working fine. Do yourself a favor and get the real POE adapters. Polycom probably does their best to make sure customers have to buy their adapters and junk.
