Worked perfectly for our Plantronics headset.

Required to have for the new Plantronics headset just reviewed (which I love). So, while it's hard to get excited about a patch cable, because it is required to support the headset that I do love, this is great too! It would be nice if it were just a little longer - that's the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

Arrived on time however it did not fit my headset and called in to find out if I could exchange it for a different cable and they said that I couldn't since I opened the package.

I had to send this back. It did not fit properly in any of my my 2.5mm Gigaset handsets. It was too lose. I looked like it did not go down into the jack far enough. Maybe they changed the shape of the plastic molding near the jack. Plantronics was molded into the QD jack but I suspect it was fake. All of the headset/cables I have owned from Plantronics has had a part number wrapped around the wire. This one did not.. Have they changed that in the last few years? I had a previous 48586-03 purchased elsewhere and it worked. This new part number 64279-02 did not.
