While Hue lights are the most expensive option nowadays, the features they incorporate make the price tag well worth it. I am actually using this flood light in my bedroom (my 6th hue light in here 😂). Works with my bridge well, I mainly use them for light syncing my gaming setup.

I have a few Phillips Hue lights and while they can be pretty pricey the quality and features you get is well worth it in my opinion. I love the smart elements…you can control the lights from your phone…change brightness, colors, temperatures, etc. So many great customizable options and love being able to control them with our smart home devices as well. The best feature is being able to set up schedules for them to turn on and off. Make sure you have the setup, hue bridge to be able to use these. We use this light on our back porch and it’s been working great, would highly recommend.

Lets start off by saying the whole Hue line is really good stuff. They were some of the pioneers of the IoT world, so it makes sense that they, at one point, would be a bit on the pricey side. This bulb lives up to the hue quality and performs just as well as any other IoT bulb out there. Now, the IoT world is much more diverse and has much more competition. Why is Hue still so expensive? It doesn't make much sense. You can get almost as good of quality bulbs for almost half the price. At this point, you are paying for the name, thats it. Don't get me wrong, these are good bulbs. But, I think it might be time to do a benchmark on the industry and bring the prices to a more reasonable level.

Philips Hue bulbs are amazing! You can control these bulbs via wifi and even create routines to turn your lights on and off. You can also connect your Hue system to a voice assistant such as Google Home or Alexa and use your voice to control your lights. This is an outdoor floodlight. Not only can you use it as a regular floodlight, but you can also use the Hue app to control it and change colors. This light will add color and flair to my backyard. Why use a traditional colored floodlight and be stuck with just one color when you can use the Philips Hue light to change it to any color you want? If you already own Philips Hue products, you know how amazing these wifi bulbs are. If you don't own any Hue lights and are considering this product, I bet you end up buying lots more Hue bulbs!

Inaccurate description. This device is not compatible with Apple HomeKit. It does work well in Philips Hue app.
