Sleek lines with a black on matte black finish is a timeless style. It truly looks and sounds great. That said, the speaker wire is thin/cheap and affixed to the speakers, no flac support, and the remote is primitive. If you have 200 albums on a USB drive, you'll hate navigation with this remote (a "random play" and "repeat mode" button would help too, as those options are buried in the menu). Also, while the display is a rolling marquee, it only shows the first 32 charchters so it's not possible to distinguish between tracks with similar prefix names. I've also noticed a few mp3 files that won't play, these were under 320kbps bitrate so they should play fine. I'm also getting some white noise that is more noticeable on the right speaker. These are all minor problems and if you're looking for a great sounding minamilist stereo, this Panasonic is top notch. The speakers have good base, clear vocals, radio reception is excellent, and cd player runs relatively quiet. Purchased for $268CAD Feb 2024.

This is a great music system, I love it easy to hook up and listen too.

I purchased this Panasonic device as a replacement for a comparable SHARP model that I recently purchased. My primary objective was to find a device for playing CDs. The Sharp device proved to be disappointing due to its persistent skipping of the CD player. Evidently, a faulty apparatus. The Panasonic device arrived in a securely packaged manner, and its setup was straightforward. It performed exceptionally well immediately after being taken out of the box. The speakers provide an appealing and rich sound despite their compact size. The remote is user-friendly, and I greatly appreciate its Bluetooth functionality. I am able to utilize this functionality to play songs that I have downloaded to my phone. Overall a great investment.
