OtterBox - Symmetry Case for 7.9" iPad Mini 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th Gen - Scratch-Resistant Tablet Case with Apple Pencil Holder, Sleek & Slim Design (Clear)

FYI, Amazon said this was hand delivered to recipient. It was left on my doorstep on a windy day without even a knock or doorbell ring. It was fine, but they should just be honest that they didn’t actually make any attempt to alert me when they said they made contact. We live in an area where things get stolen easily so I didn’t appreciate the dishonesty. The product is okay enough so far, but the delivery was unsatisfactory.

Works well with my iPad Mini 5. I felt that it protects my iPad, easy to install and allows room for the Smart Cover to fit. Only issues are that the magnetic connection for the cover to the back becomes weak when you have this case on and that the Apple Pencil loop easily comes off. When you try to reattach it, the fabric gets caught in the plastic ridges. I expected more fro OtterBox, but I purchased this used and the Mini 5 has been out for a few years now.

I had an otter box for like 6 years and it finally got worn out. This was what I replaced it with and I have been loving it. I have had a about 2 months now.

I was skeptical when I bought it because I thought it would be a flimsy but it is actually pretty sturdy with my phone. It is easy to clean. I was able to put a pretty design on the back of my phone that I created. The clear case is great for protection and attractiveness.

We bought this for my mom’s 👩🏼‍🦼birthday. As she is disabled, she was unable to install it on the iPad mini herself, however, once installed, she was very happy with the protection it afforded the iPad. Going forward there is no doubt this Otterbox case, like the ones on her iPhone & other tech will prolong the life of her new iPad mini. 🙂
