Got this for hubby, for his knee, and it works really well to cover the whol knee at one time. It does lose its chill a little faster than the smaller one we have but for about 10-15 mins it gives a good ice for the whole knee for him. I would recommend this.

Very inconvenient for hot use - specifies to heat the gel pack in water, whether it's in your microwave or in a pot on the stove. Temperature controlled by timing how long you leave it in the boiling water. Who would have thought that in 2022. Also, it's so slippery it doesn't stay anywhere - slides off any surface if not completely horizontal. It should come with a fabric cover or the surface of bag should be changed so less slippery. Hopefully the cold pack option will work/be better.

These are large enough to do the job and they are still pliable when frozen. I bought two of these so one would be ready to use once the other is warm.
