Great idea, but if you have a modern tablet with thin bezels, the holder over sized curled up font facing holding parts will cut off parts of the top and bottom of the tablet screen.

I wasted time and money with other tablet mounts. This one works exactly as it should -- the vesa mount connects to any vesa monitor arm mount without problems, the hook retains the tablet securely but can be released without strain, and the rubber backing on the hooks do not damage anything while providing enough grip to hold tablet sideways. I'm using this to mount my Surface Pro 2017 as a secondary monitor / desktop. It is a little pricey but it's also the only thing that worked 100% no issue for me.

Bought these (15) for a project at work. They are easy to use and the spring loaded top grip is so much easier than screwing together the mount. Now we don't worry about locking down any of the tablets, but for holding power, these are nice.

Works great! I have two of these. One for an older larger iPad and another for a newer iPad. The grip is firm, and, it holds! The vesa mount is convenient, I have both of them mounted on a double monitor stand that I bought at Amazon. This holder is very stable. There is a spring that holds the sliding mechanism in place, it does not snap back, it slides gently back, thereby not causing any sudden impact on the iPad.

I bought this to mount my Cintiq 13HD which isn't originally VESA mountable. It is so well built and simple to use! It's secure and I can turn my tablet 360 degrees without it dropping.
