No response from their sales team on the returns. Amazon please remove these guys from your platform. The time wasting and cost is annoying.

ウィンドウズ3台、アンドロイド1台ときて、5台目のスティックPCです。 安いしコンパクトだし、この際一通りのOSを体験してみようじゃないかということで買いました。 本機の使い心地は、最初にテスト使用した程度では問題なしだったという感じで、ここではクロームOSというものについて。 本機の性能じたいは★4なり5でいいと思いますが、クロームOSによって3です。 今までPCを使ったことがない人に使わせるものとして、クロームOSというのは最もとっつきやすそうと思います。 理由としては、各種アップデートやセキュリティ対策で、ユーザー側の負担がかなり小さく、ほぼゼロに近いことです。 そのあたりはグーグルでも全面に出していて売りにしていますが、一方では、ハードウェアごとにサポート期間が決まっているという、個人的にはかなり大きいと感じる欠点があります。 私の勉強不足ではあるにしろ、このサポート期間の件はだいぶ後になってから知り、何となくですがグーグルに限らずネットではクロームOSの良い面ばかりが喧伝され、この短所はあまり知られていないのでは？と感じます。 まあいったんそれを知ってしまって検索してみると情報はわんさか出て来はしますが、ただクロームOSのことを調べている限りでは、「まあすべてブラウザ内で作業して、データもクラウドに置いとく、あまり広いことはできないにしろ初心者やライトユーザーには手軽で安全なものなのね」といった評価に収斂していくのではないかと。 個人的にはPCは5年かそれ以上、ハード的に故障するとかOSの進化についていけなくなって動作が遅くてどうにもならんといった感じになるまで使いたいほうなので、セキュリティやらOSのアップで一律線引きされて「これ以下はサポート打ち切りです」というやり方のものはできれば使いたくないと思っています。 普段メインで使っているMacについてはそれなりにサポート長いので使ってはいますが、やはりOSのバージョンが上がるごとに対応ハードの条件も上がって古いのは打ち切られていくのは、中には納得し難いものもあったりします。 そういう意味ではウィンドウズが一番緩そうで好感が持てますね。 まあグーグルに関してはそれ言ったらアンドロイドスマホなんてOSのメジャーアップは1回でも有れば良い方で、特にエントリークラスなどはほとんど非対応に見受けられ、それを求めるならピクセルなりアンドロイド・ワンなりとなりますが、それにしたってサポートは2年だか3年だかでやはりiOSに比べたら短いようですし。 まあなんやかんや、アンドロイドの場合は古いバージョンでも使い続けてしまったりしていてそこまでサポートがどうのと気にはしていないので、クロームOSもあまりお金絡みのことには使わないとか一定の注意をしながら、サポートが切れたハードウェアも使い続けるつもりではいます。 実際、本機もこの投稿の2020年12月時点ではサポート切れ直後だったかと思いますので、そのあたり把握済みでその前提での使い方をするつもりならありかなと思います。

Me ha servido, casi como sustituto de una pc de escritorio. Lo conecto al hdmi de la tele y listo. Tiene una salida usb, a la cual le puse un combo de teclado y ratón inalámbricos, que puedo usar desde una distancia de 2 a 3 m. Me faltaría agregar una diadema bluetooth para poder tener micrófono para conferencias. Todo funciona en web, principalmente. Hay alguna que otra que funcionan como aplicación adicional (todas se descargan desde chrome web store). Pero si tus programas funcionan en web, lo puedes usar desde el chromebit

Quería un Conputer Stick y me alegra no haber comprado uno con Windows... Chrome OS es mucho menos demandante y aprovecha bien un hardware "limitado" como el del Chromebit Funciona de maravilla para tu TV y olvidarse de si tú TV sigue dando soporte o no a ciertas apps de streaming (me pasó con la app de Fox en una Smartv del 2015 años) La configuración es súper rápida sin embargo hay bastantes actualizaciones y esta es la parte que toma más tiempo, dependiendo claro de tu conexión a internet Te otorga 100GB gratis en Google Drive por 2 años asi que no le veo mucho problema al tema del almacenamiento Ha reconocido varios teclados y mouse es cuestión de segundos así que muy eficiente en este sentido Compré un adaptador HDMI-VGA así que lo conecte al monitor de la vieja PC de mi mamá y le va de maravilla! Puede navegar, checar sus cuentas de bancos y hacer sus trámites en línea, y por un precio mucho menor al de una laptop o un remplazo de PC, y ya al momento que desee gracias a su portabilidad lo lleva a cualquier TV de la casa o fuera de ella Aún no permite instalar la tienda Android para bajar las apps de Netflix y otras, por lo pronto todo es vía explorador, hay una versión Beta del OS que lo permite pero leí que están trabajando en una versión oficial que soporte la AppStore de Android, pero por lo pronto con el navegador todo ha funcionado de maravilla Lo recomiendo para convertir tu TV en una Smartv más poderosa, o si no requieres de suites de oficina propietarias como Microsoft o algún otro programa y lo que requieres es un ordenador para navegar el Chromebit puede ser una gran solución con una gran portabilidad

Pleasantly exceeded my expectations. Wanted another computer to replace my desktop computer, but I primarily use my laptop and have another laptop for work, so I couldn't justify the expense of a new computer that I didn't really need. My job uses Google, and I've been a Google user since it was invitation-only, so I tried a cheaper Chromebook (which I ended up giving away to my teenage niece,) and I looked into Chromeboxes which were still a little more than I wanted to spend. I was pleased to discover the Chromebit, but I was skeptical. I was worried about speed based on some reviews, but since I didn't plan on doing anything heavy on it, I figured I'd try it if the price dropped. It did, so I bought one. Set up was much easier than I expected -- very intuitive. I use it with a wireless keyboard with a built in trackpad. Using Windows and Mac laptops, I miss a few features when I'm using the Chromebit's Chrome OS, but those are minor. My main concern was processing speed, so I did a little Netflix marathon one day using the Chromebit. No problem. It played flawlessly except for a few little freezes that I attribute to my internet connection rather than Chromebit. The freezes also occurred less often than when I watch on my computer, Apple TV or tablet. Now that I know it's dependable, I might bring it along with me on some trips this summer. Update: It worked at one hotel, but I probably wouldn't bring it with me traveling again. I brought it along on a week long trip that I just returned from. I stayed in three different hotels, all with wi-fi. At one hotel, then HDMI port was on some multimedia gadget box (sorry for my overly technical language, haha) where the HDMI port was slightly recessed making it too small for the Chromebit to plug into all the way (an HDMI extension cable might have helped). At the second hotel (vacation timeshare,) the Chromebit worked perfectly, although I just used it for Netflix and online music videos. At the third hotel, the hotel chain pretty much commandeered the entire television for their own tv service, so I couldn't change the source on the tv. At the one hotel where it worked, I didn't use it because, with an iPhone and iPad, we didn't need another computer even with a huge flat screen. If we traveled with kids, I think then we would have used it more, but overall, we usually don't stay in our rooms very much anyway, kids or no kids. In a nutshell, it works while traveling -- and if it doesn't, it's through no fault of the Chromebit.
